The manual is split into four sections for ease of downloading. These are:

General Standards and Procedures - general standards related to IANTD's programs.

Sport Diver Standards - standards related recreational/sport diving programs.

Technical Diver Standards - technical program standards for all levels.

Leadership and Instructor Standards - standards and procedures relating to divemaster, instructor and instructor trainer levels, as well as facility standards.
